In actuality, Locke was once an unnamed REF pilot who found himself kidnapped by the Invid during the initial Expeditionary Force assault to retake the planet. While it throws out the occasional nod to Robotech mainstays, it focuses on an original cast. Invasion tells this story, only not from those perspectives. Scott's goal was to survive and to destroy their centralized hive, the Reflex Point. Their mission was to prance across the Earth attempting to rid the planet of the alien Invid that planned on continually colonizing our world, for they thrived on the flower of life - the protoculture upon which human society had learned to depend upon.

It may look like a sad squad, but Rook, Rand, Scott, and Lancer took care of business using a variety of Alphas and REF cyclones (cool mechas). With two actual Invids in their ranks, a cross-dressing singer, a giant sissy, and a little girl, you'd think Scott's army of resistance fighters would be completely outmatched and outclassed. Then there was Rand the vagrant, Rook the sensible, Sera the Invid princess, Lunk the pacifist, Marlene the Invid spy with amnesia, and Annie the ultra annoying kid who never seemed to die. There was Lancer, who disguised himself as a female singer named Yellow Dancer to gain entry into backward towns that pledged their allegiance to the Invid (whoops).

The original Americanized cartoon chronicled the adventures of Scott Bernard and his crew as they fought the monstrous Invid for control of the Earth. We hope you are enlightened by our account of the universal affairs of the multiverse organic AI maintenance systems as constructed by the Æytherians to maintain balance in the Void Space Institute™, and please enjoy the musical offerings these planets sing while they work ever so diligently to maintain the fabric of reality.Invasion is a first and third-person shooter that takes place during the third Robotech series, known as New Generation in the States and Genesis Climber Mospeada in Japan. In the case that an X-Class planet is unable to develop to maturity, the planet's life will be devoured by the Black Forest, where it will decipher what went wrong, and make adjustments to its own database of knowledge. In doing so, it's able to pick out the strongest genetic traits from all biological life it subsumes, generating the kind of biological resilience needed to nourish an X-Class planet to mature development, ensuring a flourishing microsystem. These blueprints are generated by the 'Black Forest' planet, which devours plant and animal life from non-X-Class planets. 'forests : VOLUME 001" introduces the first two forests the 'Green Forest' and the 'Black Forest.' The Green Forest seeds selected developing planets with a specific plantlife bio-blueprint as they develop. At most, it's possible for Sentient-Class (S-Class) life to form. Lesser-classed planets' natural generative properties are so random that there's a 10^777 to one chance of real, self-aware life developing. These selected bodies are visited by the AI Forest planets periodically over the course of their development for procedural designing and fine-tuning based on the random blueprint seeds generated by the Æytherians. Only certain planets are selected for the cultivation of Xeno-Class life forms (self-aware life). (For reference, our solar system's own sun is a G class B class is the largest, and hottest burning.) This is necessary for the number of computations it must perform every picosecond. The planets move freely through the multi-universe with the use of their own version of dimensional travel, and each planet's core harbors enough energy equal to or greater than an A or B class star. These forest planets possess their own self-awareness and consciousness, and while they act on their own, it's in accordance with a master blueprint at the core of their designs as seeded by the Æytherians. These planets are giant organic artificial intelligence domains that act as debuggers and maintenance utilities for the multiverse.

Scattered throughout the 13 universes of the Void Space Institute™ multiverse construct are forest planets. Hello, Void trippers! We have some outrageously wild music for you for our third release, as we introduce the 'Forests' series.
